The book is bilingual. I see other reviews have had problems with Kindle downloads without, apparently, the English translation..Having the original and the translation by an accomplished linguist is a great privilege . Its production is very pleasant to handle.It is a stimulating and terrifying description of madness and the transposition , by Buchner, of the schoolmaster's description into his narrative lends immediacy and a linguistic excitement.Is a suitable starting point into a further exploration of the fascinating worlds and writings of these two writers particularly in the case of Lenz whose work is little translated into English.
