If you have ever to recommend a book that would make someone laugh, you'll be challenged - as I have been in the past. Now I have a very ready answer. This is a terrific novel, as funny as I have ever come across. I'd recommend all of David Nicholls' books, but this is my favourite.

A wee bit disappointing

Having previously read all of David Nicholls' books, I was really looking forward to this one. I have to say that it didn't quite hit the spot for me. I think it's mainly because I didn't warm to any of the characters. On the plus side I'm really glad I didn't read this one first or I might not have discovered his other great novels.
