A bit of everything for learning or revising English

I'm using this book with a class of adults who wish to polish up the English they learned at school. They are finding it interesting and fun as there are plenty of opportunities to listen to different voices, and suggestions for conversation based on fairly easy vocabulary. Grammar is presented in an easy to understand fashion and the topics of the units are up-to-date and relevant.I found this book on the Macmillan website where you can download samples from all their English coursebooks which makes it much easier to choose the right approach for your students..

The communication activities at the back of the book are excellent and are the reason I bought the book. The rest of the book, although giving a couple of new ideas and some interesting little cultural details, actually doesn't really tell me anything new about how to teach the classes. So a big bulk of the book goes unused by me, but I still think the resources at the end are worth it.
